Hey girl hey,

I’ve been wanting to start a blog for years, but I kept talking myself out of it. Blogs aren’t really a thing anymore, right? Who even reads blogs in 2025? And honestly, I had that little voice in my head saying, “Girl, you’re 42, you’ve got kids, a business, and a full life — who wants to hear from you?”

But here’s the thing. I’ve always loved writing and sharing my thoughts. Back in college, I lived on LiveJournal. I mean, I shared all my deepest secrets and thoughts with a bunch of random strangers on the internet like it was totally normal. One of those strangers actually became a real friend. I went to her wedding in Jamaica and finally met her in person. I still remember us coming up with a story about how we met so it wouldn’t sound weird that it all started on LiveJournal. Wild. Times have definitely changed.

Still, that feeling of connection stuck with me. I’ve always loved having a space to process, reflect, and connect with people who just get it.

So here we are.

If you’re new here, I’m DeNeitra Burnett. I’m the founder of a creative agency, mom to two amazing and wild little humans, wife to my best friend (and business partner), lover of skincare, mocktails, good food, long walks, Solidcore, and a cute outfit that fits my new body. I’m also someone who’s learning, still, how to take care of herself while holding space for a whole lot of people.

This site is a mix of everything I live and love. Here’s what you can expect:

• The real side of marriage and motherhood (the actual real)

• What’s working for me when it comes to health, wellness, and weight loss

• How I’m learning to dress and feel good in a changing body

• The highs and lows of running a multi-7-figure business

• Things I’m cooking, workouts I’m sweating through, products I’m loving, and whatever else I feel like talking about

I share a lot on TikTok and Threads, but this is different. This space feels slower. More personal. More me. No algorithm. No pressure. Just real stories, thoughts, and updates from my world to yours.

So whether you’re here because you’re a fellow mom trying to find time for herself, a business owner needing inspiration, or just someone who stumbled across this blog and stayed, welcome. I’m really glad you’re here.
